The case study Working with Older People: Community Care concerns an older couple struggling with the problems associated with dementia and caring. It explores practice implications, including ethnic issues and dilemmas, faced by the social worker attempting to intervene purposefully, whilst at the same time managing one person's dementia so as to empower him and his spouse as carer.
